Here’s an essay that makes great reading for Labour Day: Collin McSwiggen’s hating on chairs. Yeah, exactly, chairs. It’s actually called »Against Chairs«, and what’s more, it’s kind of convincing. Too bad I just wasted a rather enormous amout of money on what seemed to be the perfect chair to sit on while writing blog postings like this one.
I should have gotten a subscription of Jacobin instead, an interesting and still rather new-ish radical magazine from New York. Jacobin published »Against Chairs« in their fresh Spring 2012 issue (that sadly can’t be linked to).
Oh well, it’s never too late.
